Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Synchrogistics in Raleigh, NC.
The Logistics Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of customer freight. This role focuses on carrier communication, shipment tracking, issue resolution, and documentation accuracy to ensure on-time, reliable service.
This is an in-office role ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supports logistics and transportation needs by tendering loads, carrier setups, and load building for assigned business units.
- Monitors and tracks shipment status throughout transaction.
- Escalates customers’ and vendors’ issues to appropriate to team members or managers or account representatives;
- Maintains continuous documentation in the TMS;
- Perform other administrative and reporting tasks as required.
- Duties and responsibilities may change, or new ones may be assigned without notice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- 0–2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or customer service (experience in a brokerage environment is a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and able to quickly learn new systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Able to learn quickly, apply training, and independently resolve issues
- Professional, accountable, and self-motivated with a service-oriented mindset
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative approach
