Position Overview:

The Logistics Manager (LM) is an experienced freight professional responsible for managing one or more key customer accounts while leading and supporting an operations team. This role owns day-to-day execution, proactively resolves issues, and serves as the primary operational point of contact for assigned customers.

This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently with customers, and can balance execution with people leadership in a fast-paced brokerage while working in a hybrid work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Own the operational execution for assigned customer accounts, including quoting, routing guides, carrier management, and exception resolution
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status, escalations, and service performance
• Utilize the TMS to ensure accurate, timely shipment data and lifecycle management
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships and manage carrier procurement
• Identify trends in shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
• Lead and support team members through training, delegation, feedback, and performance management

Required Responsibilities:

• 2 years minimum experience working in a logistics brokerage required
• 1-2 years minimum supervisory or team leadership experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or other related field preferred (not required)
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid work environment with little oversight
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with industry tools such as DAT, TruckStop, Highway, GenLogs, Carrier 411, MacroPoint and/or Trucker Tools
• TMS experience required (Revenova preferred)
