We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team in Raleigh. The Senior Associate will be responsible for organizing and executing problem-solving tasks assigned to the Analytics and Consulting groups. Duties include managing projects ranging from new customer due diligence to gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions to managing and personally executing logistics consulting projects. This position will work closely with Synchrogistics’ top management and have high level exposure to client management and decision makers.

What You’ll Do
• Build complex Excel and BI models to simulate business scenarios and support decision-making.
• Clean and analyze client data, identifying and resolving data integrity issues to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in analyzing new prospects’ data to identify savings opportunities, preparing PowerPoint presentations and accompanying visuals and tables for client pitches.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Salesforce, Excel, and PowerBI to gain insights into business performance and answer questions.
• Analyze data to assist in pricing proposal evaluation and strategy.
• Collaborate with the technology team and organization leaders to identify and execute on opportunities for process improvements in data collection and management.
• Communicate clearly on tasks, providing timelines and recommendations, and re-prioritizing work as needed to align with client and company needs.
• Maintain up-to-date familiarity with Synchro’s data sources and systems.

• Ability to review and analyze data, present conclusions in a logical and clear manner, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Skilled to recognize and fully understand the limitations of business information systems in relation to business processes.

Required Education & Experience
• 2 – 5 years working in the consulting space, preferably for an established national consulting firm or a banking firm
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Math, Finance, or other quantitative field
• Hunger to learn the logistics space – a quantitative space where persuasion and relationship-building are critical
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• PowerPoint skills and prior presentation experience
