Erica Jackson

President

Erica has worked with Synchrogistics since its founding, advising on operational, legal and compliance matters until joining the company in a formal role in 2017.

Prior to Synchrogistics, Erica was Senior Counsel at VF Corporation, a Fortune 250 international manufacturing and retail company.  In addition to her corporate governance and M&A work, she had key roles in supply chain initiatives including Direct-to-Consumer and omnichannel initiatives. Prior to VF, Erica spent nine years in private practice focusing on corporate transactional work for clients in a broad array of industries. Her legal experience includes commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities laws and corporate governance.

Erica received her bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Economics from Duke University in 2000 and graduated with high honors from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Law School in 2005.

Bill Jackson

Founder

Prior to Synchrogistics, Bill was a turnaround consultant focusing on the transportation space at Alvarez & Marsal.

Bill brings his financial background and upper level executive experience to middle market companies with $2mm to $100mm freight spends. His focus is on interacting with top management at client companies in order to ensure that Synchrogistics’ transportation solutions are producing the desired results for our clients.

Bill received bachelor’s degrees in Business and History from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1999. He received his MBA from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Jennifer Armstrong

Senior Director of Operations 

Since joining Synchro in 2019, Jennifer has made a tremendous impact on our operational efficiencies and processes while also driving employee development and engagement. Prior to Synchro, Jennifer held the position of Program Director for YMCA ATL Metro and brings a diverse knowledge of HR, IT, and Finance functions from prior experience. She leads our Truckload team by example and with the highest level of service and solutions-focus.

Jennifer received her bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Business from North Carolina State University in 2006.

Omar Rodriguez

Senior Director of Operations & Special Projects

We welcomed Omar to the Synchro family in January of 2022. Omar is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico and has called Raleigh home for almost 20 years. He comes with deep exposure to corporate operations within high volume manufacturing settings. During his 8 years with Eaton Corporation, he drove global service and large systems logistics operations for all locations around the Raleigh-Durham area. Omar holds a Six Sigma Greenbelt, and he continues to drive measurable process improvements and efficiencies across our LTL operations.

Omar received his Bachelor’s in International Business from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac, Guadalajara in 2001.

Gabriella Slowey

Director of Analytics 

Gabriella leads our Analytics department with her extensive experience in the areas of supply chain analysis, financial modeling, and solutions identification & implementation. She joined the Synchro family in 2019, bringing her knowledge of statistical modeling to the team and our customer base.

Gabi received her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Centre College in Danville, KY.

Susie Hicks

VP of Accounting

Susie is a valued member of our team, having joined the company in 2018.

Prior to Synchro, Susie spent a decade in the manufacturing business working her way up from Plant Accountant to Vice President, showcasing her dedication and leadership skills. Following this, she spent another decade in the service industry supporting her family’s business. Her diverse background and qualifications make her a valuable asset to our team.

Susie holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Meredith College, underscoring her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. She is also a licensed CPA.
