Position Overview:
The Carrier Sourcing Manager (CSM) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the performance and development of the company’s core carrier portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Source new carriers, build deeper existing carrier relationships and drive carrier outreach to improve client services by creating long-term, trusted partnerships
- Regularly checks-in with core carriers, conducts regular surveys on company performance, maintains a carrier scorecard to push continuous improvements
- Conducts quarterly Lane Analysis for top accounts to review carrier pool and routing guide strategy
- Benchmarking carrier rates
- Analyzes carrier data to assist in identifying savings opportunities with carriers
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred.
- Three (3) years minimum carrier sourcing experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- Experience with a CRM software; SalesForce preferred.
- Bilingual a plus
